Going to Gamboa beach, right after Porto de Cima beach, you will find the Yatch Club and then Ponta da Pedra Beach, with many of beautifull houses with private beach and the sea very near. This area is sourrounded by trees with fresh shadow, ideal to rest reading a book. These beaches are calm and clean.

If you keep on walking, you will crossed the "archila", which is a big quantity of rocks of various colors clay (between pink, yellow and brown) that were detached of the wall formed by this kind of mud. The sun, and the water inside these rocks have generated a wonderful cut in the middle of the green hill, that offers the possibility of using that kind of cream melted by the water and softened by the tide, to be spread in the body, hair, face with various energetic, esthetics and medicinal actions, according to what people used to comment in the island.
